Qu Yuan was a loyal politician and poet during the Warring States period in Chinese history. Despite being a patriot to his state, he was not valued by the king he served. The king ignored Qu Yuan's advice and sent him to exile multiple times. Qu Yuan had to helplessly watch his beloved state perish in the hands of the impotent king. Devastated, Qu Yuan ultimately decided to commit suicide...
